Rowan Taliesin working in acrylics, soft pastels, watercolours, textiles
I have been drawing and painting for 35 years, and am self taught. For many years I worked in water colour, and in 2006 I changed to acrylics. I describe my work as symbolic, as the work reflects my passion for inner work with dreams, meditations, astrology, pagan beliefs, runes and healing. Recently I have been learning how to create textiles and am very inspired by the possibilities for developing my work along this path.
I have been exhibiting regularly with the BVA for 12 years.
My work has been featured in Kindred Spirit magazine, as well as bookcovers and various private commissions.
