Amelia is a full-time printmaker working in linocut and monoprint.
Her practice is inspired by time spent outdoors, observing mountains, sky, and water. Walking through the landscape is an essential part of her process; she often uses her camera to capture fleeting moments of light and atmosphere that later become starting points in the studio.

Amelia’s landscape work is currently inspired largely by the mountains of Wales and the Outer Hebrides. She is drawn to the fluid, expressive possibilities of combining monoprint and linocut on the same block, embracing variation and chance as an integral part of the making process. Each print is hand-pulled on her large Gunning press, resulting in original works produced as variable editions.

Amelia featured on Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year (Series 11/Episode 4) as a pod artist, and has exhibited work in the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition.
