Anyone working in some form of fine art is welcome to apply. (This includes sculpture, textiles, ceramics, glass, photography, original printmaking, and other media).
You do not have to be a professional, you do not need to have qualifications, but you do need to show a level of expertise in your work and a commitment to the development of your practice. The BVA is not a club, it is a network, and runs only through the voluntary efforts of its members. As a member you will be expected to engage in some way with your fellow artists and contribute to the running of the BVA and its activities.
Current annual subscription is £25, payable on Oct 1st.
We prefer applications on-line because they are visible to all members.
The on-line application consists of 2 sections : (if you enter a password in the first section you can log back in and edit your application and remove or replace images up to 48 hrs after submission.)

| We expect members to contribute to the group in any way they are able, for example by taking a role on the committee, open studios management, publicity, graphic design, helping set up exhibitions etc.. |

When you have completed the first section, the second section requires you to upload at least 10 pictures, to show the breadth of your work.
Photos must be in JPG/JPEG format.
If you have everything to hand it takes a couple of minutes to complete the application.
Your application will be reviewed by members on-line and votes collected after which you will be contacted via email.
When completed you can
