I am a ceramicist/potter making organic sculptures and elegant tableware. I work mainly in Stoneware and fire to as high a temperature as possible to get deep colours and colour mixes. I both throw on the wheel and hand build my pieces. I love nature, textures, colours and shapes and I try to show others how I observe nature, often details exaggerated. For example I have done a series of sculptures inspired on tree bark. I aim for thinly thrown tableware with elegance and a depth and variety of colour. All my pieces are unique as I get easily bored and don't really like repeating things..In my sculptures I try to translate feelings and inner experiences into shapes and colours.
