My main love is painting and I work with many mediums, generally trying to express an internal perspective of experience. This work often involves the figure/portraiture, focusing on themes within society, such as mental health and homelessness etc, but I am also driven by visual inspiration and observations of my surroundings. I have an interest in Psychology, as well as other sciences, and find symbolism/metaphor to be a useful form of expression for internal experience. I believe that participation in the arts can improve well-being and want to try to encourage participation and engagement in creative activities.
