My prints explore the tender and mischievous relationship I have with the world I inhabit.

Each layer informs the next layer; my colours are intuitive and soft registration creates sensations of movement and fragility in the story I am telling.

I seek the drama and character in my subjects which can be pulled from reflections on the past or drawn straight from nature.

I have been extending my practice by walking in the Marches – the boundary
between Wales and England, challenged by what I find there to create in my
prints.

Often as not I choose the disciplines of relief or screen printing to portray my
affection for my present pre-occupations.

No image is the entirely the same within the short editions I produce; they all
have their own character.

My disregard for planning extends into my quilt making. Stories in prints on
mulberry paper patiently linked together by fagoted or printed 'ribbons'.

My printmaking practice has been established for over 10 years during and following a career in Costume pattern cutting for Theatre Clwyd, the Nuffield Theatre, Leicester Haymarket and Greenwich Theatre.

I have work in Private and National Collections.

I have exhibited at the Mostyn, the Qube, Theatr Clwyd, Ty Pawb International and Open exhibitions , the Royal Cambrian Association, Ruthin Craft Centre, the Bodleian Library, Mid Wales Arts, Grovesnor Chester, the Willow, Bearsteps, Plas Brondanw, SADAA ,the Maelor Studios,Contemporary Welsh Art Exhibition, the Dory and the Oxo gallery London
